Trust the process

So I wanted to post some ‘progress’ pics from my latest commission piece. It’s an absolutely gorgeous scene I get to paint and I was really happy with my first pass

Then I taped that off to preserve that finished part and started on the next pass.

That was my ‘OMG what did I just do?’ It looks like crap. (Literal) Part of the process.

I had to let it dry - so I whipped up that little one the other day to calm my nerves and remind me I’ve got this.

Today I came back to it to start building on the process. And I’m so so glad I didn’t give up and trusted the process. I was a little scared. Ha ha

I’m liking where it’s going. It’s gonna be what I imagined it would be.

Sometimes you just gotta trust the process and take a leap and have faith in your abilities. 😜
