Starting

I love starting a new piece. There is an excitement in finding out what it will become. This particular piece is a commission - so my goal is create the experience my patron is hoping to have. Excitement - and a bit of fear. i put everything I have into my commission pieces -and often have to push past that moment of fear that I’m going to ‘F’ it up. I always end up pulling it out and creating something they love - but there definitely some nail biting moments for me. LOL

I decided to paint the edges of this painting in gold. I like how it looks and I think it will really set the piece off when it is
