Holidays and slow progression

Doing commission work is amazing. It’s challenging and exciting to see where the piece will go. I’m amazed that people pay me and more importantly trust me to take a treasured memory or photo and create something NEW from it. It does take a toll though. Especially during the holidays. I decided to scale back to 2 customs and I’m glad I did. It allowed me to create - but also handle all the rest of life as well. My new baby (above) will be in its new home by the New Year. And with that - I’m doing a custom for myself. I’m going to go way outside my comfort zone and I think I’m going to like it.
